For him that is a pretty good score overall, but it still looks like the judges did not want to give him the PCS. That is typical when judges dont consider you "established" enough.

But it was almost his Euros score, he scored higher then, and with no quad.

That is kind of strange then. I always thought scores were lower in general in early season, but that was not the case last season.

It's very very basic skating, but he is quite young so it's understanble.
