Well if the 2nd best man in Europe can get away with no clean quad, no clean triple axel, and no triple triple and a nice big single flip, then the North American Men and Japanese men are going to have an easy time of it at worlds. Come on jumping is part of the sport, either you do 2 - 3 axels in the program a quad and a 3-3 at the mens top level or your not supposed to be there. We can go back almost 20 years and programs had more difficulty than Verners free. At least the other 5 in the group did the technical content that is required to be in the top 10 in the world. Figure skating is a sport and technical difficulty is required to be done well at this level.
