I think perhaps I should explain my view about what Johnny did. The other two U.S. skaters are 9th and 10th. That means that Johnny *had* to make the podium if the U.S. was to have three entries next year. For the sake of all the other U.S. male single skaters, I am very glad that he skated in a cautious way that pretty much guaranteed him a spot on the podium. I think it was highly responsible of him, and I hope that the USFS appreciates that.
Congratulations, Canada! You have had a brilliant Worlds!![]()
Wow, Canada placed over the United States in EVERY SINGLE DISCIPLINE. How crazy is that?

Congrats to ....
- Johnny - who finally, FINALLY!!! won his first Worlds medal ....![]()
I'm aware of that. I wish he would have won his 1st Worlds medal with a more dazzling performance, too, but otoh almost everyone in the final group have been lackluster (some more, some less). But I'm still happy for Johnny.I am happy for him but I wish that he had executed his program elements to their full potential like he did at Nationals and some of the GP events!
I really want to see Johnny skate a Worlds LP that's not error-ridden!
