So the argument last night was about the quad and how technical merit is important. Yes it is, but technical merit shouldn't account for one good quad, but rather one good quad and a plethora of finely executed triples. People went on about how a quad is important for technical merit but how about executing good triples. It seems like people are focusing all their energy into one jump and blowing the rest of their other point-grabbing jumps.
This isn't a jab at Brandon or Yannick but rather the current trend. If people wholeheartedly believe technical merit is more important, end all be all, then the quality of their triples should be up there.
