Kozuka's jumps all just seemed a little more tentative and tighter than some of the top skaters. Great skate non-the-less.

As adorable as I think Samuel Contesti is (and that's pretty darn adorable), what in the world is up with that costume? (Though, it's not nearly as bad as others around. Not nearly.)

They give attention call to Kozuka's flip but not to several other skaters' flutz? Why is Kozuka the only one getting special treatment? :think:

Seeing how the judges were so tough on Joubert after he messed up, I tend to think it will mean Kostner and Lepisto will be given no favors if they don't deliver during the ladies event. Takahiko was awesome though! And Contessi is hot lol

There have been complaints about the ice temperature from the speed skating teams. I wonder if the ice is overly hard - which would perhaps contribute to some of the inability to hold edges? For skaters who jump as well as these to be losing their landing edges, and so many of them, perhaps there is an issue?
