Men's SP

Jeremy stumbled on the footwork, hand down. I guess national champ pressure are getting to him already. A little late on the ending.
he looks so sad ;(

Poor Jeremy. But the high-scoring elements were there, both 3-3 and 3A will score huge. It's his first fall on a jump this season I think. Had to happen, better now than at Worlds.

Jeremy Abbott, USA

Adaigio - Albinoni

3f-3t good
3a high, leaning but done
3lz fall, not enough height, but rotated i think

comentator notes quick recovery from fall, into trasitions and spin
combo spin really nice
big stumble in circ steps
looks cautious and a bit off now in straight line

looks distraught at the end!
poor guy, looks a bit stunned

75.67 -- 2nd.... so close to Kozuka? what did Kozuka get downgraded on?

I agree. I'd rather it happen here than at Worlds. Hope he comes back strong in the LP!

Is he not feeling well? He doesn't look good. = [

They must have been reading this thread and my comment about Canadian overmarking, and decided to overmark Jeremy Abbott too. 2 wrongs make a right, right?

Patrick seems a bit slower than usual tonight... pressure? But still an amazing skate! He definitely deserves very high marks for that performance, especially with the overscoring of the other flawed skaters so far...

Patrick Chan - perfect, inspired.
Not a 100, no, just 88. Boys you all may proceed.
