But in previous years it was obvious who was going, anyway (perhaps with exception of spot #3). This is the first year (at least since I've been following) that there's been so much competition at the TOP level and that it could be any of these girls. the real question is whether simply sending 1-2 in this situation is the BEST method, particularly when certain skaters tend to perform better under pressure internationally. Hmm.
