At this point, we can see he's in good form - the reports from training were all good. He just has to bounce back, but I fear that he wants to prove himself too much and I don't like that. The face Valentina made when he popped was very telling. She knows this is in his head.
I'm of two minds on this, though. I would like him to find outside help, but he needs to step back a bit from the expectations and work from the ground up. Had he landed his jumps he would have scored close to 100+ here, and his clean jumps are big guns, but I feel like he wants too much of himself. With his content he has a ceiling he can hit, and what others are scoring or how they skate shouldn't come into play, but easier said than done.
