There wasn't any. I read speculation in other places that they were sitting out to switch to Japan. That doesn't look like what happened. I got the idea of the best way to check after looking at their results. They would have had World Standing points.

I checked the World Standings on the Wayback Machine since that would be the best evidence. They had 225 points from the 2021-22 season that would've gone down to 70% for the 2023-24 season. They were listed for that 70% on a capture from June 22, 2023 in preparation for the 2023-24 season. The next capture after that is from August 2, 2023. They're no longer on the list by that date. So they split/retired without an announcement between June and August.

I'll add this to the Splits/Retirements thread, their removal from the standings was probably missed when it happened last summer.
