K & C at European Nationals is a delightful relief after the in-your-face view we had at US Nationals..
Advertising is important .. we get it .. but aren’t the ads that surround the skating rink (bad) enough? I posted this before and will say it again: Now I know what NOT to buy!!

I only saw the pairs at the US event, but I was hit in the eye by the gaudy ads on the boards, after the minimal, coordinated board ads at Canadians. They had been basically just the names of the sponsoring companies in a simple, unobtrusive font on plain white. And the K&C at the US Nationals was like last year -- an aisle-end display of products in a drugstore, with gaps left among them for skaters to perch on.
