Morgan Matthews and Leif Gislason?

What happened with them? Are they skating for Canada? The US? Or am I that behind in the times in that I don't know if they've split?

Apparently they're trying to get citizenship from Azerbaijan because their federations wouldn't release them. According to recent accounts on FSU, they are still training together, seem to be in very good spirits, and have been advised by their lawyers not to make any comments.

The US wouldn't release Morgan to skate for Canada (or anywhere else), until 2010. It's been reported that Morgan and Leif plan to skate for Azerbaijan, where they can get citizenship pretty much by decree. Once they are citizens of a country, the US no longer has the power to refuse release for them to skate for that country.

Maybe they will start competing for AZE next season.

I also enjoy her skating. She has such attitude when she skates and her body language is superb. She was way ahead of her US partner, Savosin, in that area. Is there a youtube of her and Gislason?
