I wanna recommend Matthew Savoie 2006 Nationals Long Program to Nathan

not only he is a skaters's skater and student's student
but also how his costumed is designed.
Nathan's Mao' last dancer FS could use some of his costume design ideas. especially the sleeve design (half length) here, this type of design can showcase Nathan's gentle, fluid, arm, wrist and finger movement (which is one thing so special about Nathan's skating), look at how it show-off Matthew Savoie's arm movement and I would perhaps add a little tearing/ragged or worn out pattern to the end of the sleeves (and this can be done in a Modern and Minimalism way as well), it will be even more floating and match to the theme - Mao's last dancer.
Many feedback of Nathan's body suit costumed by Vera Wang is that, it indeed showed Nathan's lines really well on ice. but it does also hide some of Nathan's unique and essential figure skating qualities, some fans are especially felt pity that some of the most emotional invoking movement (like those gentle, fluid arm choreo in Mao's last Dancer) is not as effective in Vera Wang's suit as before.

Russian junior girl Alexandra TRUSOVA just did 2 quads + 3 triple triple in her all clean all level 4 free program in junior world. Won the field by 20 points. (reminds me of Yuna's 2010 OG and 2013 WC wins)

I agree with the author in almost everything, it was like a roller coaster, beautiful and painful at the same time :hopelessness:

, and I wonder if Nathan will have time to go to the prom (he with so many pending presentations I see it very difficult)PS: I really am one of those who hold their breath every time Nathan goes for the 3 axel and I suffer from tachycardia when he lands his quads
There is still no way to watch Nathan's FS on youtube. All other great OG figure skating performances have already been uploaded to olympic channel, but still no Nathan's FS, his FS is the olympic record FS and historical 6 quads.. I feel soooo sad about that. Further all other videos of Nathan's OG FS including fancams are blocked by IOC....
Maybe we should start a petition...

not for me, I downloaded all Nathan's OG programs of all versions in my computer already. As a devoted fan, we always have ways to watch our fav skater's performances.
I am mostly sad about the exposure of Nathan's FS to the general public. His historical OG FS deserved to be viewed by more audience...
That is pretty sad.
EDIT: Nathan's historical FS is buried on NBC web figure skating videos, also in the Olympic channel app, his FS also does not have a separate video..
Nathan's first OG effort deserves much better. fee sad for him.
Yeah, I didn't like any of the outfits worn at OG. I miss seeing the fabric of his sleeves and shirt fluttering in the wind in "Mao's Last Dancer", as he sweeps across the ice, especially during the step sequences and flying camels. It adds so much to the ambience and emotional flow of the music.

I don't understand Japanese, but I enjoy their tone of excitement when Nathan lands a quad.
I also find that Japanese commentators truly appreciate Nathan's quads and his artistry.
