It looks like he won’t be wearing Emperor Penguin Vera today, he’s wearing these black pants:

The pants don’t look very comfortable ... his quad(ha) muscles are larger proportionally to the rest of him - resulting in all that bunching of fabric.

Wonder if his contract with Vera allows him to wear her costumes/uniforms only for Nationals, Worlds, and the Olympics.

If Vera only permits him to wear her outfits for Nationals, Worlds and Olys, then he's free to find well-fitting, stretchable fabric outfits entirely in black for other competitions, right? Or grey top and black pants. Short sleeves, so no need to roll them up.

I'm happy the pants don't have pockets that are bulging out and he looks so happy and relaxed at practice.

Totally agree (in fact, that is true for most skaters).

Those pants he's wearing for today's skate have such a horrible fit, and I'm dreading the vest and ill-fitting shirt...

I actually think he'll be doing this version of Caravan for SOI.

Reminds me of when we said goodbye to black shirt Nemesis ... and then he had like 25 more performances of it
