TBH, after saw Nathan only get a 101 after a clean SP with most difficult BV, the only feeling I have is the horror of +5-5 GOE new rules, Nathan really needs to up his ante in the GOE game.
 
@Metis I agree that landing the 4Lz and 4F this close together made me worry too. Also, one reason I became his fan is because quoting you “most exciting skaters in a very long time and could very well redefine what’s considered “artistry” in men’s skating” him pushing the artistry boundary with his potential is something I’m excited for men’s.

Wow, love it when so many clips are available on a rainy Thursday. Personally, I thought he skated a clean SP with obvious nerves still popping up here and there but gradually subsided after the first quad. He met my goal which was to get the OG monkey off his back and regain confidence, of course it would’ve been incredible if he blew away the competition. Given he is one of the few who didn’t have rest (due to injury rest etc) in this season with OG emotional roller coaster ride, it has taken a toll on his on ice energy, nevertheless, he delivered a decent SP which I love. My favorite was the kiss and cry where he seemed more himself while chatting with coach Raf about the program, to me that’s the Nathan I knew and he is back.

Yaaas to Nina Simone comparison though she’s a bit out of my age but music has no limit ;) I believe Shae-lyn mentioned it was her husband who selected the music in an article.

To agreeably disagree and not forcing or hammering one’s opinion onto others is what I take away as basic public forum etiquette. Thanks for all the goodies as always.

I don't know if it's his swagger or he is just that cool - but I found myself appreciating the cut of the top and the fabric - emphasizing his torso - though I wish I could see more neck. And the pants are really well fitted for him - A+ for tailoring. I can't say I will truly miss this costume but this second wearing was far better than the first 😊

I’m a lone wolf on this costume, not a favorite but I do like it as it accentuates his built and posture with the asymmetrical geometric patterns, in addition to giving a visual pop when he is in transitions especially noticeable when he twizzles into the single leg camel spin and the step sequence. I will truly miss Nemesis as well.

just my personal opinion:
1, I think Nathan's FF is a very welcoming place, Nathan' fans here praise and constructively criticize Nathan freely all the time.
2, my previous post "write down every nitpicking about Nathan in my little notebook" is my funny way to express that I wish to keep track of all the feedback of Nathan's skating not to keep a list of people whoever criticized Nathan
3, Just my personal opinion, as a Nathan fan, I don't mind to talk about other skaters in Nathan's FF as long as it is necessary. However, since, this is Nathan's FF, I would assume people are expecting mostly a celebration of Nathan here.
 
I'm relieved to see he put the OG disappointment behind him to skate well today. Hoping for the same in FS!

Just finished the sp press conference and noticed he is quite talkative with Max and a bit distant with Vicent to my surprise since I saw a better bonding when they were younger. It was fun hearing Jackie Wong asked Max and he to carry on conversation while he takes the pic and see Donovan (?) the Mexico skater posed with Nathan, it’s refreshing to see the bts of interactions.

I also noticed he was studying this piece of pin(?) placed on the table, it’s funny how quickly he can extract himself from the surrounding madness LoL

It’s near bedtime and now you got me all excited LoL I don’t see why not, in fact if she indeed made the banner and lugged it all the way to Milano, respect 🙏🏼
