If that guy is Raf, does he have any authority to correct Nathan on his posture? lol
Huh you mean his warmup yoga-mat posture? Yeah, Paul Smith will do and he totally can do his style justice.

Me too I love his casual street look (LOVE his training clothes a big shout-out to Nike) and I’m the 1% that like Vera’s costumes. He does however need a tailored suit as a professional athlete.
I think it's both. I would imagine his income is quite substantial, yet from interviews it's pretty clear Nathan is no spendthrift and is saving for his education. Does he even own a car? Last I heard he drove his mom's. The only "splurge" I heard of was his bringing his family to Korea for the Olympics.

The article mentions that Nathan is considering double-majoring in economics and pre-med.

Alex K’s artistry is just decent to me and I didn’t see him doing quads, I think Camden P could be a possible challenger for National title
I think Paul Smith might fit Nathan better than Armani just based on size and cut ?
As for Alex K, I’ve only really seen him at Nationals and he doesn’t seem to be a threat to Nathan ... yet. But considering he won JGPF and was the favorite at jr. worlds, I wouldn’t dismiss him so easily.
But thinking about where Nathan was as of 4 years ago - broken hand and all at jr. worlds - did anyone think he would have been a threat in 2018?
I would prefer to err on the side of not underestimating the competition and a lot can change in 3-4 years.
On the other hand, people who won jr worlds through the years don't ever really go anywhere either or have injuries that end their careers early. I know people thought that about him as well at one time of course so it's hard to judge will be the next up and comer in the sport I agree. So yes, you can't underestimate anyone. But imo, on a national level I'm not too worried about Nathan. His competition is not anyone at home right now and won't be for the next couple of years at least.
I come to think the upcoming rule changes might turn out to be good thing for Nathan. It might have closed the door for another young jumping prodigy to upstage the more established ones over a short period of time.
I'd love to catch him practice at Chelsea Piers![]()

I hated it when Tara called Nathan ‘that little quad machine’
Tara is clueless in general. Johnny is a lot better. I loved that he kept telling the audience Nathan was artistic and beautiful throughout the competition at last year's Nationals when people were all excited about his quads.I hated it when Tara called Nathan ‘that little quad machine’

Johny mentioning Nate's artistry in NBC maybe is because there are some script(e.g. he was reminded to bring up Nate's artistry) NBC commentary usually is just advocating status quo, and PC, in all figure skating disciplines. Eurosports and CBC often have more independent opinions. but Kurt Browning really loves Nathan from junior time. His commentary about Nathan is consistent and appreciates all his qualities despite of the "quad king" campaign slogan.
I do love Kurt though.
