I really love your humor and intelligence in the FF.

Felt sorry that you felt the need the delete all those old posts of yours. Hope that you kept a version of those posts to yourself.

All those posts are coming from your love of Nathan and as I said is the creation of your humor, intelligence. it is unique and precious.

It is just a shame that you felt uncomfortable due to others' behavior.

Stan Nathan, posting should be a pleasant experience. But since it is public skating forum, all kinds thing will happen. it may took some time to get used to and learn how to cope as a newbie fan.

Just hope that you will enjoy your experience in Nathan's FF and really hope to see more of your humorous posts in the future. Keep it coming I personally like your posts very much

but also, don't feel that you are obliged to post, please post as you please.

EDIT: I wanna say that I totally understand figure skating Newbie fans's struggle (dealing with this crazy figure skating social media). been there, done that myself.

EDIT: also, unpopular opinions happens all the time in a fandom. but one indicator of a High Quality (quote V here ) fandom is exactly the diversity and the ability to tolerate, the coexistence of different, individual opinions. like Nathan's FF here.

Well it depends on what they’re screenshot it for. Usually it’s not for anything good lol as in it’s typically used to stir up drama/hate and that’s uncomfortable when you have nothing to do with those people but they’re using your words to instigate stuff.

Also even though it’s a public forum, FF are suppose to be a safe haven for fans of whichever skater. It’s just common courtesy and an unspoken rule to not impede on that, especially if it’s used in a negative way when that’s not the intention of this forum or our posts. It should be a positive place and it’d feel weird if outsider used that for other purposes without your say.

just a personal experience on this board, years ago, when I just registered in GS. some Chinese Yuzuru fan even screenshot part of my Chinese post in a Chinese board and posted in GS (an English forum) as some kinda of evidence to prove that I quote "this ID is a notorious Yuzuru hater"
Funny thing is, I was quite a Yuzuru fan back then and have contributed to his fandom a lot.

Sometimes all these fandom craziness is so ridiculous that it really is laughable.

In my specific case, it even is cross language barrier

Well that just makes me want to post and praise Nathan all the more! And I sincerely hope they read or keep reading my posts and hope my posts keep their blood boiling ! Seriously though I will never understand that kind of stan mentality. I personally could care less about skaters I’m not drawn to, much less spending hours reading about them, bashing them or even reading their fan threads. Talk about pathetic.

the truth is some antis probably spend more time to stalk the skater they hate than to fellow their fav skater.

My takeaway from all of this is: There is no safe haven on the Internet. Everything you do leaves a trace. Keep that in mind when posting. The rule of thumb I use is not to disclose personal information and not to discuss other skaters. I’m also interested in any private discussion group via other social platforms. This FF will be the public facing FF.
