I’m wondering if they mean they were first to reach out to him in terms of they were the first to notify him of his acceptance or if they mean they reached out to him before he even applied to schools (like to convince him of why he should come to Yale)?

Also does he mean he was writing his essays literally right before he had to go on the ice and compete? [emoji23]

But seems like everything is falling into place with being able to balance both skating and school. He’s smart, he’ll be fine.
