I remember hearing somewhere, maybe Ice Talk?, that Vincent had a few sponsors. But they could be small, private sponsors. Not like Coke or Nike.
Nathan is actually very exceptional in his ability to attract sponsors. I think going into Pyeongchang he had more sponsors than Evan did going into Vancouver even though Evan had won the previous Worlds.
But wouldn't it help to discuss as many things as possible before meeting with possible Deans or persons in that capacity during Bulldog days? .
Of course, but the responsibility is with Nathan to contact Yale for that information. Not the other way around.

Yes, but the article didn't say whether or not Nathan didn't initiate the talk. It just states Yale is the first to reach out, which reminds me of poor Phil sending email to some Yale persons inquiring some information, but didn't get the response before his first Yale interview was out.
I somehow doubt that it's all that hard to get in touch with a counselor/advisor who could answer some of these questions. If they didn't respond to his emails I bet he could just get on the phone and make a call.
I like to say Nathan's name is CHinese.
陈巍,巍巍, 微微,
Weiwei is very cute: Really hope Nathan can try to speak more Chinese when interviewed by a Chinese media. Don't be shy Nathan Boi, although you are kinda camera shy anyways.
My assumption was Nathan must have some confidence it would be worked out before he puts Yale 2022 in the bio.
Short interview with local Chinese TV station.

OMFG HIS HAIR IS ON FIRE
see now i'm curious if that is hair product because every single curl is perfectly positioned
also wow karen's chinese is excellent
Yum! - haha. Nathan most likely won't be saying that about the 'meatless baked ziti' served at the dining hall.
DWTS is on tonight
Is Nathan somehow going to be shown on tonight’s episode too![]()
Phil was contacting director of Yale's Office of Public Affairs and Communications about the online courses.
And that FSU Nathan Yale thread did talk about something like Paul Wylie or some other skater, opted to go Harvard instead of Yale because Yale cannot accommodate his needs at that time. There must be lots of high level things needed to be discussed/worked out I guess. My assumption was Nathan must have some confidence it would be worked out before he puts Yale 2022 in the bio.
TBH, I am kind of lost why we are arguing about this now
Oh, just remembered something important, it is one of the posters from FSU SOI thread who uploaded the cute 2chenz video and she promised future write up of the show when she has time.
ETA: for his foreign language requirement, would he take Chinese or Spanish?
Nathan is easier to market than most skaters. His age, meteoric rise, outside interests, physical appeal, and hailed a prodigy makes him appealing to sponsors since his age group is the main ad target and he’s already packaged so well. Other than Chloe Kim, the Winter Olympics don’t really have a future star nearly as marketable so sponsors will invest in him for the next four years atleast.
@hhh thanks for sharing! Sounds like you had a lot of fun. Great show to be at for Nathan fans. SLC will probably be bananas as well. Hometown boy. Wonder if Donovan Michelle would make an appearance [emoji23]. I would die if SOI and NBA crossed paths [emoji23]
