Bonita, thanks for the links. Nathan shows such expression and he reels off that quad toe like it's no big deal! I wish I'd driven or flown somewhere to see the show, but I'm in skating show wasteland; the locations are quite far from me. Maybe next year. :)

Also-- about those meet and greet events, how much extra does it cost and how long are they? Are there staff around prodding the fans along so no one monopolizes certain skaters?

100 USD Per Meet and greet pass and yes they only let so many in and make sure you have a limited time with each skater.

Thanks, I appreciate all the info you share! $100 is sort of pricey, but if I'm going to spend hundreds to travel and get great seats, what the hey. The skaters must get tired of fans gushing the same things to them, like "I love your skating! I've been a fan of yours for years!" Maybe bringing something the skater's known to like would sweeten the event. I was just watching Dice Murakami's latest video of him opening a ton of gifts in his hotel room, and he looks so genuinely thrilled at everything (even random stuff like a green apron?!, socks and lollipops). So, anyone know what things Nathan likes, besides Nikes and that denim jacket that he wears in almost every picture?

IC3Rabbit would be the best person to consult with and @hhh would share with you her wonderful experience. She hasn’t finished her m&g yet

You have to be careful bc of security in US arenas they won’t let you bring certain things in to gift the skaters with.

United pic, skip if seen, I haven’t but gosh even a simple white Ts looks chic on him 😍

@livetoskate as I found out, security varies between arenas which I don’t think is right, through friend, I was able to contact the event manager at the arena I attended to know what’s allowed and not, must say, some arenas in previous stops had more leniency on gifts rules. I’m going to the Northeast shows next year... way easy on regulations... CA was the tightest.
