wow - I really did not think they would be quite this expensive and the ticketmaster service fees - yikes. And I just have a feeling Nathan won’t be there - despite his photo on the promo and the ‘quadking’ presale code. But I could be wrong ...

No I won't get any ticket unless I know for sure Nathan will be there and honestly I perhaps will never buy all session tickets, I really don't have so much time sitting there for so many days. At this point I am more of a Nathan fan than a FS fan.:luv17:.

I think so too. It is quite hard for Nathan to attend 4CC during the semester.

I am more of a Nathan fan too :) - though I do like some other skaters.

All session tickets don’t make sense for me either. I would mainly just want to watch Nathan practice and the mens event.
 
Those tickets really are expensive. In the past when 4CC has been in Taipei, the tickets have been FREE. Aren't you jealous of us? A number of Japanese fans come to Taiwan competitions because with the free tickets, they can just spend all their money on flights and lodging.

I remember back in 2016, I was hoping that Nathan would be assigned to 4CC, so I could get a chance to see him... but sadly, he was assigned to Junior Worlds and Worlds, and even sadder than that, he ended up injuring himself during the gala at US Championships, so he didn't attend any of the competitions he was supposed to. Sigh. I think 4CC might be in Taipei in 2020, so hopefully Nathan will come then? Please???

Also, if any of you want to come to Taipei, you can have a free skating competition, with only having to pay for flights to Taipei!

I hope Taipei can host 4CC in 2020, actually I hope it can host 4CC every year ;).

wondering how the free tickets were distributed - were they hard to get?

If I travel to Taipei - maybe I will finally get to fly on the Hello Kitty Eva Air 🐱

Haha let me dream big! How about Michelle Kwan, Sasha Cohen, Johnny Weir or Jeremy Abbott :) His friends are good too.

I don’t think Taiwan will be hosting the 2021, this was the provisional allotment I saw earlier this year -
ISU Figure Skating Championships 2020
Europeans: Graz, Austria, January 20-26
Four Continents: Seoul, Korea, February 3-9
Junior Worlds: Tallinn, Estonia, March 2-8
Worlds: Montreal, Canada, March 16-22

Beijing probably will get 2021 due its OG hosting status. If Taipei does get 2022, it’ll just mirror this OG year where most OG qualified skaters will not participate 4CC in preparation for OG... Two expat friends went to the this year’s 4CC and told me it was quite empty and people did not show up so some seats couldn’t be offer to those who did, maybe cuz the tickets are free. I think Nathan should go and garner more fans ;)

Well, his skating has much more appeal to me than most of Nathan’s actual friends ;)

His friends may choose to go or have other plans. Kolyada on the other hand don't have many people to hangout with, I think only if Nathan asks, he is going to say yes:biggrin:.

Doubtful that any of them would show up. Probably just Nathan and his mom like last summer. :slink:
