They asked Nathan about the possibility of 4A and he responded that he was first concerned with steadying his 3A. He did believe Hanyu had the best chance and looked forward to seeing him attempt it.

Plushenko also had this to say when asked about the young generation of skaters: "Today Patrick called Nathan the 'Quad King' and that is correct. He's a genius who is the first to successfully land five different types of quads."

I think it's fair to allow quad repetitions but they need to give back higher TES values to those more difficult quads.
