know Sam from Tessa/Scott's OG FS documentary
Later find out he did some EX that impressed me in person for D/H and P/C without knowing who is the choreographer. I have the hope that Sam can translate hip-hop into figure skating blade work. Not just stand-still arm movement. And he achieved that with D/H and P/C ex to some extent, which is why I am impressed.
In term of the short dance clip of Nathan, the upper body hip-hop feel is okay, but I was hoping for more hip-hop footwork (e.g. those jookin foot work moves)
Hopefully the final product will have more creative and genius incorporation of hip-hop into figure skating footwork as well as upper body dance. Not just standing still dance.
And Marie-France is also there to help/co-choreo.

haha, maybe! I wonder if Sam choreographed a hip hop program for Nathan ?

Also wondering if Nathan is/was (not sure if he's still there) working on SS at Centre Gadbois.

Nathan can surly work on his SS and dance movement as well in Centre Gadbois but 6 days maybe a little bit too short to make a significant change for either.

The JO outing maybe is for $$ and it is an IMG event.

I guess 6 days is not long enough for Nathan to reach Cizeron-level ice dance and SS

Seems like it often comes back to IMG - even Yale is represented by IMG

I'm so glad that United is continuing to support Nathan beyond the Olympic year thru their work with the Special Olympics!

This new promotional video seems to be tied to United's new relationship with the Special Olympics and not technically part of Nathan's Olympic agreement with them. The fact that Nathan uploaded the video to his own social media accounts suggests that, at least for now, he's still under some sort of contract with them.

I don't know the status of Nathan's sponsors, but he has already confirmed his continued partnership with Bridgestone, and he recently paid a visit to Nike HQ. We're still hoping something will come out of that weird Walmart/Kellogg's M&G in Arkansas, and crossing our fingers that there's something in the works with Panda Express. We haven't heard anything from Coke lately so maybe they are out.

If the program is really hip hop inspired then I have a feeling that it’s for the short program rather than long which means Shae Lynn would probably be doing the long program. Won’t be mad at that haha

I’d assume Nathan will keep most of his sponsors (except for maybe Kellogg’s and Coke as they tend to be sponsors during Olympic years rather than long term). Regardless he probably won’t have much trouble getting new sponsors if need be.

I think we had the hogwarts convo here before right? Griffyndor was the popular answer if I remember correctly though Ravenclaw also makes sense for Nathan. The positive aspects of slytherin can kinda apply to him too imo but that’s probably an unpopular opinion

His twitter profile hasn't changed yet. I am with sheetz about Bridgestone, Nike and United. Not sure about Kellogg’s and Coke. Bridgestone entered partnership with USFS last year and was the title sponsor for SA. If Bridgestone continues the partnership with USFS, I think the possibility of sponsoring Nathan should be good.
