Thank you for your always informative posts. Forgive my ignorance, but does the Sun Valley competition being held that week change the practice arrangements for show performers at all? Or are there so many ice surfaces that it doesn't matter?

They have 2 rinks, an indoor rink and an outdoor one. The competition is held in the indoor rink, rehearsal and practice will most likely happen in the outdoor rink. However, the competition should be ended by 5pm Saturday so they may still use the indoor rink after competition for practice.
Of course the first thing everyone notices is the hair length!
I wonder if Nathan was given his course syllabi in advance so that he could get ahead over the summer.

The cast will have Saturday afternoon practice on the outdoor rink. Pre-show warmup occurs on the indoor rink. The competition should be over by then.

It sounds like something that just happened while they were rehearsing or something, so no probably not! It sounds like a cute interaction though!

Let me clarify my post from earlier. The competition should be over for the day on the indoor rink on Sat July 21 by the time cast has to warmup for show. I'm pretty sure that the competition ends around 7.00 pm on Saturday. The last day overall for competition is Sunday July 22 and that is the only day it will be on the outdoor rink.
Pro practice should happen daily all week on the outdoor rink as usual and then the Saturday afternoon practice with Nathan learning group numbers and where his solos will fit in will also occur on outdoor rink.
