What’s the source of the $100K scholarship/year for Nathan? Raf’s interview? Such great news.

Yes, from Raf‘s recent interview. Need to google translate the original interview.
Just realized that he would be in Russia next weekend, and probably won’t suffer that much jet lag problem at IdF after spending a few days in Moscow. We probably won’t see him yawning as often ;)

But I don't see it in the translated version from FSU?

I do wonder if it's ok with Nathan that Raf shares such specific details about his financial situation... (and also what he thinks about their coaching relationship, but that part's nothing new coming from Raf).

I absolutely share Raf's worries re Nathan not developing/improving enough to become a well-rounded skater, it's something I had thought about since it became known that Nathan would attend Yale.
I think he should definitely improve his jump set-ups (make them more part of the program) and landings, and that is something that he won't be able to do without a coach at his side.
The other thing would be skating with musicality and being comfortable with footwork/transitions while doing quads.
(although I'm starting to think that it's not about being comfortable, but that he simply doesn't enjoy it enough or doesn't care for that, when he gets to do jumps)

@1111bm, @SkatingMusic

I see why you are asking about the source of the scholarship. The FSU translation either edited out or didn’t translate that particular part, you can google translate the original interview, which is pretty decent translation.

Ok thanks.

Yay - car sponsor for Nathan! :)

His new RDX should be great for driving in all kinds of weather - and like the dark grey color! The coordinating dark grey wheels look really nice!
