Exclusive! Nathan Chen reveals new perspective on skating
Olympic champion Meryl Davis and figure skating analyst Jackie Wong speak to Nathan Chen about his flawless performances at the 2019 ISU World Championships in Saitama, his new perspective on skating and his friendly rivalry with Yuzuru Hanyu. "This whole season I have felt the most at ease in my entire career," said Chen to the Olympic Channel adding: "I still have a lot of room to grow."

'Woohoo Nathan!! I knew it! I saw him practice his short & free programs last week at my rink-and he was sick, flu maybe. (?) I was pretty worried that his cold/flu might affect his programs. But in fact, this was the best that I've seen him skate! Congrats, 2 time World Champ!! 2019 National Champ!'
 
Just stopping by to say a big "Congratulations!" to Nathan. He was stellar -- not only in his skating, but in his sportsmanship and the way he represents the U.S. on the world stage. He is amazing! That SP of his became one of my favorites immediately when clips were posted of him practicing it at Sun Valley. I still smile every time he directs the "orchestra" and when the singer yells "Hot Tamale!" :laugh: He is a prodigious jumper, and I doubt that we'll see a better jumper than him for a LONG time.
