Sheetz, I think you’re right. I just reread the Daniil quote. He was talking about Nathan adding in his own choreography.

Does this say Nathan's left skate blade is different from his right skate blade? Will he be ok skating in the show? Could this be related to the John Wilson blades IG sheetz found where his blades have been engraved with a different font?

There are some Nathan’s practice pictures in this site. There is a picture on page 7 in which he was up in the air with Coca Cola background board, you can see clearly the colors of the blades are different. There is also one picture showing someone next to Yuna with different colors of blade and I suspect that is Nathan.

My guess is that the black blade is the new blade showing in John Wilson’s IG story. I asked the question two days about if the blade looks like black color in his Park Ice National smile day picture. I am not sure if it is because of lighting or angle, those blades don’t look like black to me.

The Korean fans are really amazing. Hope they have a wonderful session with Nathan.

I can’t see that, but in a pic from yesterday’s rehearsal, it looked like he had one black blade and one silver blade.

Hopefully he should be okay skating in them. Isn’t it just an aesthetic thing ? Not sure if he just ran out of his black custom blades.

As long as he is not doing quad, I guess it is ok. Maybe Ic3Rabbit can offer useful insight about the blades. I remembered Raf didn’t like changing blade right before competition. He had 2 different blades in 2017 SkAm which caused him quite some trouble in his fp.
