Mariah's IGS is saved here:

A Japanese writer attended several days of rehearsals and came away very impressed with Nathan.
Edited Google translation of Nathan's portion:
What impressed me especially when I saw the three-day rehearsal was that Nathan Chen was really enthusiastic about choreography and directing, repeatedly practicing even the minute timings in the group numbers, and actively working to raise the level of perfection of the show. THE ICE has more collaboration numbers, group dances, opening and finale than other shows, which is a big burden for skaters. In fact, in the past I've heard confused voices from skaters who aren't used to these shows. However, it seems that the enthusiastic efforts of a champion as great as Nathan Chen have tightened the atmosphere of the entire team and created an atmosphere of harmoniousness and concentration toward the goal.

I don't see that this has been posted yet. Nathan has a book coming out in November. I will be very anxious to read it! Sounds super interesting. "One Jump At A Time: My Story".

Nathan really getting into the finale where they teach the audience some motions. Wish I had his energy!!!! He looks like he's having a great time. Loved the cool light things they gave audience members to wear on their wrists.

Nathan is always so adorable to me, but seeing him being animated and goofy like this takes me to outta this world 😍

Here's another one. I already posted this in Shoma's thread. Gotta love these 4 guys -- they can all do multiple quads, but the hardest part is getting their bow coordinated! :laugh2: Come on guys, you can do it!

Some info on the Vail show
While Chen, whom Shipstad said is retired from the highest levels of competition, won’t perform his famed quad jumps that immortalized him in the halls of Olympic greats, viewers can expect world-class speed, artistry and amplitude as he performs “tons of triples” to Elton John’s “Rocketman,” the program which sealed his legacy in Beijing.

“He will definitely come to Vail prepared,” assured Shipstad.

“He’s an accomplished pianist, he’s going to Yale … he’s still going to keep up his skating aspects to bring it,” he continued.

“That’s just in his nature. He has always been one of those who does everything 100%.”

Nathan named Goodwill Ambassador for the 2023 FISU World University Games in Lake Placid!
As FISU 2023 Goodwill Ambassador, Chen is planning on attending January’s Games, as well as participating in a press conference and promoting the 11-day, winter multisport and educational festival on his social media platforms.

“I’m so happy to be a part of January’s Lake Placid 2023 FISU World University Games and helping to support everyone involved,” Chen said. “It’s going to be so exciting to see so many of the world’s best collegiate-athletes compete in their selected sport. This is a special time in each of their lives and the ability to balance academics and athletics already makes them champions.”
