This is what we've been waiting for since Vancouver. Finally this season these new kids will make Ladies skating much more interesting. It won't just be the same old skaters we've been watching since about 2004-05. Usually at this point just a year before the Olympics the new girls have established themselves but it took longer this cycle. Mao and Kim skated at Words just a year after Torino Olympics to set themselves up for Vancouver but with Adelina Tuk and Gracie they will most likely make their debut at Worlds just a year before Sochi. Now with the Russian girls Gracie and now Kaetlyn it will be much less predictable then the last few years have been.

The choreography is Igor's solely. I love it. It's a great program! The lifts are amazing, the story is coherent, but Madison needs help with the costumes.

I agree about the SD costumes for both of them. Hers is too frilly and Evan needs to lose the fake lapel sequin thing he has going on. As for the FD, I thought Madison was dressed in a near replica of Marina K.'s FD dress from 1984.

I really enjoyed Haruka Imai's skate. The three underrotation calls on her lutz and two salchows were pretty close -- she (almost) landed 7 triples!

Can't say I can imagine this shaping up to be nearly as good as their Tango from last year.. it's got tricks , but.....I don't feel a lot of potential for this program.

I like their SD (and really liked last year's Tango FD), but this I don't care for. I really don't like the music. It sounds like a cross between We are the Champions and an add for a cruise line (if you blank out on the words) If I were them, I couldn't listen to that every week, let alone every day. Their costumes are quite nice for it this time, though.

Doris, can you tell us, what was the illegal move? Not allowed to sit on his shoulder? They got a two point deduction, whatever it was. I hope they can pull their short dance together, I think it ought to be much neater. I had been hoping for more from Freddie Mercury, there were songs I liked much better on that album.

I have only watched V/T programs and I really like the sp. In the lp I m distracted by the costumes that i dont like But the sp is awesome and their costume too!

Excellent 3S+3T from Shelepen, it has always been a difficult combo for her, I hope she'll move it to the beginning of the program (this year's layout is really an awful one!) and that she'll be able to land it in competition again!
