Need quality boot fitter (wide feet)

I have been to two skate fitters in the Los Angeles County, California and Orange County,California area with two completely different opinions.

I am 5’3” and weigh about 130lbs with an extremely wide fore foot. I’m working on lutz and at the moment an off ice axel. One boot fitter recommends Jackson Elle or Freestyle, another recommends Riisport RF3. Both say there’s a high chance the skate will need punching out.

I’m currently in a RF3 that’s been punched out 4 times to fit. I feel getting the same skate that needs so much punching out is not a good idea.

Could anyone recommend please point me in a direction with a good skate fitter?

It sounds like you need a boot that's wider. Your best bet is to get a semi custom. Your foot would work in a Jackson more than likely, but not the ones that were recommended to you (those aren't stiff enough for your stats and skills). You will need a wide width boot (c/d). Look at the Jackson Ignite. You could also look at Supreme Pro.

The other brand I would suggest to you would be Graf. Look at the Richmond Special (if your foot is very wide, you could special order and extra wide if that's what you need).

You are correct that I would not suggest Risport for you, your foot is too wide. I will send you a PM and give you a name of a fitter that stocks Graf in that area.

You are going to need an intermediate level blade to go with the boots. Look at the standard version of MK Pro or JW Coronation Ace.
