New Game - You know you're a skating fan if ...

You know you're a skating fan...

when you still discuss (argue) the outcome of 10 year Olympic competitions

... if you play a game of "Who skates to this?" when you're listening to songs/instrumental music on the radio.

You know you're a skating fan.....

If Dick Button is your favorite sports commentator :o:

... you've taken the phone off the hook (even though your phone can take messages for you) during competitions and shows on TV.

You know you're a skating fan...

when you go through pages & pages of photos for just the right one to post as your avatar.

... you drive six hours away from home just to see a figure skating club's show - no matter who the guest star might be.

...you hear people casually discussing skating events like Nationals, Worlds, and the Olympics (the only three to exist to most people), and when they reference something like "that cool spinny thing" you feel the urge to go, "It's called a *insert actual type of spin* spin.".

... when you see "Sale," you think of Jamie Sale (without the accent aigu over the "e").

You know you're a skating fan...

when you have more than one year of vhs recordings of competitions.

... if the majority of your videos/dvd collection consist of skating competitions/shows.

You know you're a skating fan...

when you go to another country to see a competition.

... if you "educate" people at Disson shows about the skaters in the cast (I'm talking about people who come because of the musical guest, and know nothing or practically nothing about "who's who" in the skating cast - this has happened - Country on Ice in Philly, PA November 2006 - some of the country music fans had no idea who Kurt & Todd were. So I identified them, with some of their skating credentials, and then they started cheering loudly for them).
