New Olympics skating book

Here is a new book (fiction) about competition and romance at the Olympic games. I haven't read it yet, but I think it is still available from Amazon and major booksellers in time for holiday gifts, for teenaged readers on your list, or old softies like me, LOL. (I AM on your Christmas list, aren't I? )

The author is well-known sports journalist and romance writer Patricia McLinn. On the web site, Michael Weiss says, "The Games accurately portrays the emotional roller coaster an athlete rides in pursuit of Olympic Glory. The pride, excitement, disappointment, relationships, doubt, relief, joy and all of the pressures … all come to a head at the Olympic Games."

Christine Brennan calls it "Fast-paced, vivid and true-to-life, ... a gold-medal winner any fan of the Games will love."

Has anyone read this yet and can give a report?

THE GAMES has been selected as a reviewer’s top pick by Romance Reader at Heart and nominated as one of the best Best Fiction books of 2005 on the Fiction_L list.
