New skates?

Hi! I’m a figure skater in her early teens, and I’m wondering about my next pair of skates. I am in freeskate 6 and am currently wearing Jackson Elle skates. I’m learning my single axel and I want to know if I should stick with elles when I grow out of them, or if there are better skates for this sort of thing. Thanks to anyone who responds!

The choice of boots and blades that are right for you depend on your size (height and weight) and your foot shape since different boot brands fit different shapes -- arch height, toe angles, ball and heel width, etc etc. Take a look at some of the other similar questions that have been asked and answered here and you'll see what information is needed.

At your age, you're still growing and it's possible a brand that fits you now won't be right for you in a couple of years. You need a professional fitter in a skate shop to measure and examine your feet and talk to you about your level of technical ability. As you grow and as your technical level rises, you'll need stronger boots with a higher stiffness rating. Where do you live, so someone in this international community can advise you where to find the right fitter? Good luck!
