Hi, I'm a big fan of Nick since Mary Poppins and am so happy to see him back from his injury in such a great form. The Elvis Program is so much better than his first outing! I'm hoping for a very good result at JWC for him.
Now I'm a bit confused about his family name. It's a french name and you would normally pronounce it like "Na-dough", but his own pronunciation is like "Na-do". Why is that? Is it this way in Quebec?

He had already impressed me when he won the silver medal at last year's Junior Worlds, and he definitely took it up notch by basically proclaiming with that awesome LP that "I'm Canada's next big star." I had a huge smile on my face throughout his performance, shrieking and giggling in front of my TV like the silly fangirl than I am. I couldn't be happier that such a gifted athlete (my jaw dropped when he landed that quad loop!) and showman is the future of Canadian men's figure skating. As a fan, I feel so blessed and spoiled that despite Canada's relatively small population size, we somehow produce these exceptional male skaters far more often than probability would normally allow, and Nic is certainly continuing that trend.
