Well there is no joy in Mudville once again. The Canucks did not make it to the Stanley Cup playoffs. Hockey fans here are very disappointed. Oh well....

But I have never been prouder to be a Flames fan as I am tonight!! What Jarome and the team did by going over to shake hands/hug/wish Trevor Linden well was one of the classiest things I've seen in the NHL in awhile.
He's going to be missed. One of the true class acts in the game and if this was it, then I hope I hear that number 16 will be going into the rafters at GM Place sometime next season. To me, Trevor and Stevie Y were two of the classiest ever players of the game and the game will be less w/Trevor retirement.
That Standing Ovation at the start of the Third Period gave me the chills!!!
