I had another opportunity to see Oona & Gage skate Friday night as part of the IDI tour in New Jersey, which they were repeat cast members from last year. Do go see it if it's coming to a city near you. The show is heading out to the West coast and the midwest.
I had the opportunity to say hello to them (and the cast) during a post show M&G. I was gushing like a fangirl and told them how I've been watching them the past four years and about my Youtube videos of their skates. They were incredibly sweet and Gage joked "no pressure" when I was excited about what they would do next following their Godfather program. When I asked about how a group number came together featuring one of my favorite artists from the early 2000s, Ben Kweller, he seemed surprised that I knew who he was. Oona didn't say much, but she thanked me for coming. I forgot to tell them I'm also from Long Island but maybe next time, lol.
I took two videos of their skates, one they also did last year to Nils Frahm and the other was the Ben Kweller number featuring them along with Emmanuel Savary, Kseniya Ponomaryova and Tim Koleto. They were in several group numbers with the rest of the cast but I find those hard to take video of.
Adam Reisinger's Instagram has plenty of video from the show as well. I also got to meet him as we follow each other on IG but had not met until the show.
