I thought Pet-Tik should have placed higher than S&S who are still developing as a pair. S&S had a couple of visible mistakes (first sbs jumps and a throw). Pet-Tik are a very mature pair in the classical style. I did not agree with Paul's comment that they don't bring anything new to the sport. They have done a great job of skating as a pair when all the other pairs are just there to count points.

O&S- big disappointment. Will they ever achieve their potential?

T&M- looked good but I am concerned about Tatiana's health. How long can she do the athletically challenging things while eating baby food?

Agreed, Vash. I am big on S&S but they were off in Euros.

T&M were not at their best either. Pet&Tik looked v. good.

These three, imo, are the best from Europe. What we'll see from Asia is another story.

I fully expect Shen & Zhao to be back in full force in Torino. The Zhangs are going to be very tough also. T&M will have to skate their best to win, and even then it's not a guarantee. IMO these three pairs will compete for the gold.
