Poykio, Korpi, Kostner early days but look good!!

After seeing recent videos of Poykio, Korpi, and Kostner there programs have much potential and don't they skate so beautifully on the ice - so far these have made some impact!! - Nice to see Korpi use Phantasia again for LP really suites her style and Kostner and Poykio have gone for Piano selections by Rachmaninov and again their choice suites them. The European Ladies are fighting well!! - by the way watch out for Lepisto and Vahaama they look very promising - I am sure one of these will make the Euro team, maybe both?

Do you know if Sarah Meier's preparations for this season have been going well, noticed she was not in any of the low key ISU tournaments before the grand prix?

Yeah, the european ladies are not gonna go down without a fight. I really hope tha they can keep up the good work through worlds.

I especially loved Poykio´s both programmes (and her costumes, too) and expect that she will be really awesome as she will be totally ready with her programmes. Finlandia Trophy was rather early season for her (and other senior skaters), her GP events are China and Japan. One can clearly see how much Poykio has worked during off-season. Her skating has always been such a pleasure to watch!!! By the way, she was doing triple-triples at the Finlandia Trophy warm-up.

I am 99% sure that Vähämaa will be in Euro team. It is not possible that Susanna, Kiira and Laura would all score over 163, so Jenni is in. Susanna is also in I think...

That leaves Laura and Kiira fight for the last spot. Laura scored 152 in Finlandia Trophy, and Kiira should score over that if she want's to make the team, and thats almost her PB. Hard to know what will happen, Kiira and Laura are both so inconsistent...

Susanna Pöykiö has indeed worked very hard, and I love love her programs and dresses for this season! Especially the deep blue in her LP dress...
