Practice Sessions at Nationals

Trying to deduct who is in group 3 lol...Browns, Pate/Bye and Neset/Markelov for sure...
EDIT - ha, Eva and Logan already practiced! My mind scambles lol...

Saw Christina's new dress on photo...WHEW, she looks HOT, but she would remain beautiful no matter what dress she would wear :)
EDIT - as I see more photos of new Carmen dress/its details, a crafting idea came to my mind to make a matching/complimentary...fan. From black lace and embellishing it with red/green crystals firming flowers pattern. I just need to search for some tutorial or come with method how to build it lol. Thank you, Christina!

Amy & Jonathan doing Swan Lake FD. Jonathan loses speed because his ribs are too open and flexible according to JLB. He says he made that error early in his career. Her dress and tiara are simple but stunning. Nice choreo jumps, rotational lift did not cover much ice.
 
Michela & Karl she in neon yellow and he is black and white bowling shirt and black pants. Close to boards on the one foot sequence. JLB said they started too far down the ice. Respectfully the other dancers are at the boards. Jean-Luc wants to sit on the boards because of the rule change. Not sure that would go well.
 
  • The Browns are said to be hard workers and have great power and a great capacity to learn.
  • Amy & Jonathan doing their disco number in their Swan Lake costumes - disco swan
  • 70 percent teams doing bracket farthest away from judging panel, just enough edge visible to get a higher mark
 
I love reading all the chatter, but I've got to get ready for trivia. At least trivia is tonight rather than during any of the senior events because I would have considered abandoning them for skating, and feeling a little bad about it since they're lost without me sometimes, lol.

Rockers and counters are usually done second, brackets are the last turns done.

I think JLB was talking about Vadym being on one foot for the last three rotations. He does those one foot rotations in lifts really well.
