Practice Sessions at Nationals

Their podcast will be Follow the Yellow Brick Road...that's the last Kansas reference they're allowed.

I go to grab my banana and yogurt and find the same.....exact.....promos I've been seeing for at least 2 years.

It's just a bold statement. Though I expect no less.:love2:

Not really bold, may I submit, although absolutely correct. (I didn't watch or hear the comment)

Andrew has been the second best US man through scoring all year. For some reason, thank the skating gods, he found consistency at the GP this year to match his passion and performance. If he skates at Nats like he did on the GP, it's a no brainer.

Given that the US has three spots, that still leaves one for any skater who cares to petition and who has a career of great skates. It's not like she's saying take it away from that skater. Now then she would be wrong. :)

Ugh, we trapped Lexi, super bad timing going to have to go to vet.

@NoNameFace what do you think of Green & Parsons this year?
Love their programs and the genuine emotion they bring to their performance. RD is pure fun and FD is captivating. I have always thought Green/Parsons were the best technical skaters and the best dancers out there other than C/B, who are in a class by themselves. I hope the judges give them the scores they deserve this time. I love watching G/P and their unique level of artistry. They are ice DANCERS in the truest sense. The other top teams are good too, but to me G/P stand out.

I love watching Ilia skate in practice - he always starts with several minutes of skating skill drills, even when the other competitors are jumping - and he performs his programs so well with marked jumps. The transitions and his commitment to the choreography and performance is top-class. I really hope here at US Nats he dials back the tech content a bit so he can show off how well he can skate and perform.

I'll be back on from the vet ....someone take note of Jimmy for me.

I only had time to watch for a couple minutes, and I was so glad to hear Gracie give a long speech about how wrong it was for people to be so harsh on Ilia when he was only 16. They ripped him online for quads, but why couldn't they have appreciated what he was doing then, and waited for him to grow in more skills, more directions on his own time?

There was a lot of Gracie identifying with how she felt at 16, but ... or AND .... she is completely right.

It still goes. I love it when people appreciate Ilia's skating for what he DOES do ... and that in a spectacular fashion.

Unpopular opinion: Gracie and JLB talk too much. I want to see the practicing, even the warm up, give me your hot takes at a break.

Maybe popular opinion: Jacob Sanchez has grown into such a good interview. I remember when he was young, and not so much.

Rhythm Dance Warm-up is streaming on Youtube:

And there's one for the Women's FS warm-up:

To help us sort out all the practice videos since the are over the place...
Please let me know if I have messed up - It will be a miracle if they are all in the right groups
