I heard that Greg Merriman's boot heel broke during the last minute of the program, and they had to change their final lift on the fly. Amazing presence of mind to be able to finish at all! And that they qualified as well, even better.

Well we knew Viktoria Volchkova has recently given birth, there should be someone with her from her federation at least, will not be good for her if she relies on Volchkova being there for her, that performance would not get her in the top 15 period.

she really needs Volchkova, so who is with her ? I thought the assistant coach was with Polina K.
had she skated like that in the actual LP. her total score would hover around 140's and will not even be in top 15
hope she has better sp and lp scores, Im not feeling good now

russell30, you don`t understand. Polina hasn`t got the coach almost all last month. The fede didn`t give her the coach instead Victoria and it was impossible to do.
If the skaters can train themselfs the coaches wouldn`t be needed.
