There are only 20 ladies now. I´m wondering if Matilda Algotsson and Anita Östlund was originally on the entries list, and have WD now? In that case it seems Sweden has already given the Worlds spot to Josefin Taljegård who is still on the entries list.

I guess they were all originally signed up for Challenge to fight for the spots, but Josefin got the minimum she missed in Tallinn Cup this weekend and claimed the bronze, and she was miles ahead of Matilda and Anita. It seems likely they already have decided on her. In that case she also might want to go to Challenge cup to collect ranking points and competition practice.
They should officially give Josefin the spot NOW. Anita and Matilda are obviously not in good form and Cassandra has a foot injury.

Nikolaj is already named. Just the Craaford twins left who needs the minimum for bothe SP and FS:

And only 17 men...still, Morisi, Mikhail, Gabriele and Donovan are on the list. Interesting....

Well, it seems Mikhail is still taking part as he did not withdraw before the draw. He's in warm-up group 2 of the men's competition (starting on Saturday). I hope he's not forcing himself.

Do we actually know he has traveled here, though? I forgot the details, but skaters weren’t allowed to arrive xxx days before their event, something like that?
Plenty of time to WD still. :-(

I haven't seen anything about Misha travelling, but clearly skaters are arriving, I saw an IG post of Mae Bernice Meite already in Den Haag. Let's hope that no news is a good news - there is no reason for him to force himself to participate in this competition, so if he competes, he should be good to go.

BTW has anyone seen an update from Donovan, any sign of him travelling, or having arrived in Den Haag??? The last I saw of him was taken in his garden (?) promoting a sunscreen a couple of days ago and nothing else. He has a long way to travel, if I am not mistaken he would be the first skater to travel across the pond for a competition this season..??? 2 of my much anticipated boys have already withdrawn and all my hopes are leaning on him! 😳

Alas no. He's on the list, I'm hoping he will be there but I really wouldn't know about his travelling possibilities. Having said that, there's also a lady from Mexico competing and the ladies start tomorrow afternoon. If she's there (and I hope she will be), then chances are high that Donavan will be too. I sincerely hope so, because like you, I'm a fan.

News about Misha's participation:

Google translation:
MOSCOW, February 25. / TASS /. Russian figure skating champion, Olympic and world championship medalist Mikhail Kolyada was unable to take off the scheduled flight from Moscow to the Challenger series tournament in the Dutch Hague due to a coronavirus test, the skater is waiting for the next flight. This was reported to TASS by the figure skater's coach Alexei Mishin.
Kolyada lives and trains in St. Petersburg. The tournament in The Hague kicks off on February 25, the men's competition starts on February 26.
"The flight of Mikhail Kolyada with choreographer Tatyana Prokofieva to The Hague met with serious difficulties: during the transfer in Moscow they did not have enough time to pass the test specially for the flight to the Netherlands, the answer to it comes in four hours. In this regard, they could not fly as planned However, the Russian Figure Skating Federation is doing everything possible for him to fly to the Netherlands, "Mishin said.
Also, a source close to the situation told TASS that the skater had his last training session on Friday. On Monday, he felt severe neck pain, and on Tuesday he received treatment from a chiropractor.

OMG poor Misha, it must be so stressful. He hasn't had much practice in the past week and it's like he has to compete right after he arrives - honestly not quite sure if it would be worth all this trouble but still, I would appreciate his presence and it may be good for him to feel the atmosphere of an international competition.

@Winnie20 the translation was pasted directly from Google translate, I am sure Google wasn't quite familiar with the details of the figure skating competitions 😄

Neither is the original TASS author, as the original text actually states 'tournament series 'Challenger'). Anyway, we all know it ain't and that was really not the most important bid about the news for me.
