RD requirements for 2025-26

her cover is not right for the rd, I agree. However it is nineties, and really is imo the best of those sort of romantic covers of hard rock songs and also probably the first. I.e. to blame for all that followed. Plus she kind of gets Nirvana's vibe, in that it sounds kind of sardonic/sarcastic.

I feel the lithuanians will be looking in Kurt's direction
I feel like Fear/Gibson would do well with the Nirvana version.

they're going to do spice girls, Lewis wrapped in a Union Jack, mark my words :ROFLMAO:
Heloooo - this is their chance to finally skate to Cher, I know you wanted it for so long, they better grab the chance!

They will probably do a crazy mix of Cher and Spice Girls :jumping:

How about Believe + Spice up your life?

Spice up your life has a lot of potential for RD!

None of the spice girls music is on clicknclear unfortunately. Although, If any team was able to purchase the rights some other way, it'd be them.

If it is 90's music, I have a few things I want to say:

1. Please can someone skate to Hanson ("Look at You" and "Madeline" would work well).
2. I would love to see a mix of "Tonight" and "Step By Step" by New Kids on the Block.
3. If someone skates to "Smells Like Teen Spirit," can they PLEASE skate to the original Nirvana version and not mellow covers?
Majorov/Reitan might do something rock/grunge. Majorov is a rock fan and Disturbed seems to be his favorite band :p However rock sounds exhausting to skate to, but who knows - they pulled off Ballroom blitz/Proud Mary pace.

I´m wondering if someone will do Eminem

they won't just to spite me :ROFLMAO:

anyways we mentioned all the trash and all the grunge but we forgot about Verve and the Holes...who dare skate to Courtney Love? :ROFLMAO:

I took a deep dive into Swedish music in the 90s, as I think it would be fun if Reitan/Majorov could skate to something Swedish. They have a lot of good options, Sweden rocked the 90s

Rednex - Cotton Eye Joe (1994)

The Cardigans - «Lovefool» (1996), «Erase/Rewind» (1998), «My favorite Game» (1998),

Ace of Base - «The Sign» (1993), «All that she wants» (1992)

Roxette - Joyride (1991) - «How do you do» (1992), «Sleeping in My Car» (1994),

Robyn «Do You Really Want Me (Show Respect)» (1994), «Show me love» (1997), «Do you know what it takes» (1997)

E-type - «Here I go again» (1998), «Angels crying»
(1998), «Princess of Egypt»(1998)

Dr.Alban - Sing Hallelujah (1992),

Dr. Bombay - «Calcutta» (1998)

I think they would do well with Rednex or Roxette. Bonus point if they skate to E-type or Dr. Alban 😁 I would really love if someone picked The Cardigans but I don´t think it will easy to skate to.

It is going to be a loooooong and aurally painful season:drama: Just remember how many of the dancers we found out this year have crappy taste in music.... and then multiply the effect.

Oh and the Barbie song may not have been drenched in acres of pink, but thanks to the movie I will lay odd that the programs will be!

Same! I'm looking at you, Alison Reed....

And as for the Backstreet Boys, I've sensed for a long time it was the obvious choice for Fear and Gibson. May they surprise us all, but I do feel a BSB medley coming our way. Tell me why...
