I love this short program for him.. Angels and Demons seems to say it all. And the costume is just great! But I loved the film .. so there you go!

Oh Rio. When I saw the video and images of him crying at the youth Olympics it broke my heart. I know how badly he wanted to win. I think he’ll be just fine at Worlds. I really think he can make the podium. What place he gets it all just depends on what happens the day of the competition. All skaters have their ups and downs in their competitive career. No matter Rio don’t give up and fight hard. You can do it!

Absolutely! I was coming here to say the same thing. I especially love the landing position and glide out on the 3A and 3F. The quads can be good as well. (I also kind of like the fist pump reflex that seems to have become part of his landing positionAnyone else absolutely amazed by Rio's jumps (when he hits them)? They look so clean, precise and effortless. And those super smooth landings and the flow on the exit!
)Watching Rio soar to silver was the absolute highlight of Japan Nationals for me! I like his performance of the SP choreo so much too. It has become one of my most watched junior programs this season.

In second place after the short program. I think he is going to do it and get on the podium. Which place is yet to be seen. I think he is going to be the leading Japanese man in figure skating one day.
