Hey I've never actually heard the words of the Russian National Anthem.

It's a long one though, here in Aus people should have wandered off by now

It is not exactly the Russian anthem. It is an old Soviet anthem composed by Alexander Alexandrov back during Stalin's rule. Russia used it's "own" anthem during the 90s but Vladdy Putin decided to bring the old one back because Alexandrov's music is too epic.
