Hello y'all, I've made time to cheer for Liza and Devid. Also Rumak/Goncharov get my cheers by proxy since (sniff) Sonya and Sasha (who are from their team) weren't able to make it, and besides Anna and Gleb are cute.

For good reason... When I saw her for the first time some years ago when she was doing her Swan Lake ballet program, I thought she would have quite a bit of PCS potential. Now, nothing... I hope they figure something out eventually.
Muravyova seems to have fixed her posture issues, used to bother me quite a bit, didn't really notice any of it now. Lovely skater, the best at pure performing out of all of them, I think. She also has the best facial expressions. Honestly can't recall the last time she's done this well against such a field. She probably won't win tomorrow but I hope she can do well, one of my absolute favorites.
On Berestovskaya, she definitely has facial expressions but I don't think she's nearly as talented when it comes to coherently using them as Muravyova, to me it seems like she just makes random faces that mostly have nothing to do with anything, feeling no connection whereas it's like Muravyova's telling a story. At least she's not stone faced but yeah... Still the main thing that bothers me is how poor her skating skills are. It's not a huge requirement for me but I hope she can do something about it, it really sticks out.
Samodelkina seems to be really into Romeo and Juliet, huh... I don't think she performed it badly but perhaps she's growing out of the programs or something. It used to work better for me, it's like she's become more mature and it no longer is as effective for me as it used to be. Can't help but feel like her performing used to be better but perhaps I'm just imagining things.

Which is in fashion, feathers or the Burlesque+Moulin Rouge combo? If it's the combination of the two I don't think I want to see those competitions

I would've liked them to get their levels on the first TTF too, but it's their second competition after covid and they did quite lovely overall. I want them to win their last junior championships so bad...

Really love their style. At times, young Russian ice dancers are fast but messy. However, S/N are very precise and just great dancers. ( Honestly think they are my favorite Russian ice dance team junior or senior)
