Russian Qualifiers and other important competitions

Sorry but... she has some of the most horrendous arm/shoulder movements. She seriously needs to work on her posture/shoulders/arms/upper body. And her choreography is so basic, I could skate it (I am a pre-juv level skater, by the way). Sorry, but this is really what I think, and was my first reaction to watching this video.

I don't like this program at all but I highly doubt you could do some of the transitions in that program. You're welcome to upload a video though.

Not impressed with Adelina's short program at all.

Adelina need to look not on TV but on the rink. Completely different impression for which she is valued judges and specialists.
P.S. Sorry for my poor English.

No Nugumanova in SPB event ?

Nugumanova and Gubanova will be the hope for 2022 Olympics

Kostner was 27 at this years Olympics. Mao 24. Yuna 23. Just cause that's considered old in FS doesn't mean you are counted out. Adelina will be 26, Yulia 23, Elena 23, Anna 23, Liza 24.

AlexRus,
Do you a summary of who has qualified already for Russian Nationals (aside from those who already qualified for being part of the Grand Prix) based upon these events? Just curious.

AlexRus,
Do you a summary of who has qualified already for Russian Nationals (aside from those who already qualified for being part of the Grand Prix) based upon these events? Just curious.

Ladies:
JGP Finalists
Serafima SAKHANOVICH
Evgenia MEDVEDEVA
Maria SOTSKOVA

GP Events
Elizaveta TUKTAMYSHEVA
Anna POGORILAYA
Elena RADIONOVA
Julia LIPNITSKAIA
Alena LEONOVA
Maria STAVITSKAIA
Maria ARTEMIEVA (not for sure because of not so good result of Event, also depends on her skating at TEB, or she may earn spot on results of Russian Cup Events, now she has 12 points - one 4th place - and she probably will be at 5th Event)

Adelina SOTNIKOVA - as Olympic Gold Medalist and reigning Champion of Russia (also 1st place of Russian Cup Event), if she will restore after injury.

9 to 11 for 18 spots.

Others - on results of Russian Cup Events.
Now the best result of Russian Cup Events has Alsu KAIUMOVA with 26 points (2nd and 5th places, first place 18 points, second 16 and so on).
All who has highest places in first three Events of Russian Cup still have places at Nats because of JGP or GP.

Who will have remaining spots will be solved after 4th and 5th Events of Russian Cup.

In Men, Pairs, Dance situation is similar.

holy guacamole! the senior ladies event is exciting!:popcorn:

will look out for the junior ladies and ice dance as well! I'm wondering what's Gubanova been up to though? Did she compete in the previous cups already?

No. Anastasia Gubanova earned 1st and 2nd places at two first Russian Cup Events and qualified to JrNats.

She will be at NRW Trophy 26-30 Nov 2014, Advanced Novice (very-very advanced I hope)

OMG on those senior ladies entry list

Medvedeva, Sakhanovich, Sotskova, Proklova and some other really talented skaters!! Are they all going to compete? Maybe some will withdraw? Otherwise this can be the most difficult competition of the season so far :yay:

Darn, so many talented ladies I don't know who to cheer for :bang: Sure, Sasha... but against all them at once?
