Proklova won by TES Leonova, but lost by PCS and as a whole. What can I say - Sasha well done, Alena is not very good

Just watched Sasha - my first thought was: Sasha is back! It's just ecstasy, comrades! I hope tomorrow at FS will not be worse
P.S. Oh, one upset - seems she a little bit missed in music at the end :eek:hwell:

She messed up a bit with the landing of one of her jumps. I guess the -GOE cost her, when that would usually be positive and might have given her 68+, like at NHK.

She didn't. The music in the clip is not synchronised with the picture. If you notice, she starts skating several seconds before the music starts, and finishes several seconds before the music ends.

Finally a good skate for Proklova :cheer2: I hope she'll have a shining Junior season next year (possibly World Junior champion?)! There's no need to waste her in Seniors when there are already Medvedeva, Sakhanovich and Sotskova moving up for sure...

Are they really moving all three up to seniors? I would have thought that they would only send one or two up and keep a tight lock on the Junior GP.

No, of course we're not sure: maybe Sotskova is staying in Juniors and waiting a bit more, but Medvedeva and Sakhanovich are 99% going to compete in the Senior GP I think... With Proklova, Sotskova and Tsurkaya Russia should have no problem dominating the scene for another year! (And there are already Gubanova and Nugumanova waiting)

Well, we still have Sasha and Polina.... I want Natalia to get a spot, though...

And maybe Feditchkina will step up a bit. She has technically everything she needs to have. All she needs now is a bit of consistency and put some power into her skating.

There is also a whole line of girls and one of them may suddenly pull it together. Mikhailova, Mitrofanova, Soloviova, Bezrukova, Drinkina, Istomnina, Fomina.
they all have all triples (except of axel, obviously) and the harder 3-3 combinations. All they need is to skate it clean any time when it is needed. I think there is a chance that suddenly one or two from those will suddenly start doing it. Like Pogorilaya - no one counted with her until she was sent to JGP and then suddenly it all clicked for her.

So Yushenko got silver medal here, score 181.27 and yet she didn't qualify into their second junior nationals. Is there any advantage from medalling here? Like being on the team next season? It is weird that Kayumova who scored here 30 points less qualified to second nationals, and Yushenko didn't.

Maybe JGP assignments? ;) Not too sure, though…

Honestly though, Alena needs to really change her LP. It doesn't fit her too well. :hopelessness:
