Aliona's changed - even just a year ago, she wouldn't have gone for the 3A without having warmed it up, but today she tackled it, and then, even though it wasn't perfect on the landing, she wasn't in tears at the end of her skate. She's gaining resilience to cope with disappointments in the face of her perfectionist mentality, and is prepared to take more risks than before. I think I've gone from extremely nervous to transcendental state of terror, though, given how unnaturally calm I was while she was skating.

Sasha looks drop dead gorgeous in red. It's a pity about the fall on 3A, the one in the warmups was exquisite.

Man, I want Sasha to land that 3A so bad! She had to fight for all the jumps a bit though. I see a massive improvement in her PCS over the last couple years.

I wish they’d used Burn it Blue, the program is a little heavy. But it’s nice to see Sasha really throwing herself into the choreography!

The music is bad. But, I am impressed with Sasha's commitment to her choreo here. I also love her hair. That 3A looked close. She just needs to hang on..

I usually like Frida programs and this wasn't an exception. Love her skating from beginning to the end. Jumps will get better in time. Congrats Sasha you are fire
