1. If Kustarova and co. did such a lovely job with Y/M am hopeful that Lena and Rus will also satisfy.

2. To my untrained eye M/K have a difficult FD in parts but they don't sustain the mood of the dance, maybe will come in time?

3. S/B seem to have a more interesting dance, but they also lose me at times. The music cut just seems a bit flat, IMHO.

4. Sisinka, would love to hear your take on the dancers

Kind of underwhelmed by Yulia's program. Low jumps, a flutz, stepout on the flip, and her layback spin also seems slower. But yeah, she does deserve the time to refine her program.

What happened at the end? Did she forget what came next? For me, the music is too overpowering for her. Good skate, except for one sloppy mistake in the foot work and "the what happened ?" end.

Wasn't that first jump obvius flutz? Nice music, though, and first time it didn't feel she is rushing through the program. That axel... it's weird technique but somehow she manages it every time.

I'll be honest when I say I couldn't see the blade : My phone's internet makes everything blurry, I meant the height of the jump.

Dance: Y/M I liked the most.I hope Sergei is ok but I have to say I like the way they are working
S/B never did it for me. She's stiff on the knees, I think she will never stop being, he's a bit of a show off, but a better skater than her. The program is interesting,but to me they look more juniorish than even Y/M who compete in Juniors.
M/K are a better team,but there is something about them that never seems to be working.It's probably called lack of the IT factor.You rarely can do something about it. Kirill is good at times, but they seem, even in the SD to get lost between lyricism, arm flailing,etc.Totally non technique talking here

Radionova is such a rare gem.I liked her FD, even for her age.
I like Yulia's SP as well, but can't comment on Adelina's yet.I think it will grow on me.

And I really like Bazarova/Deputat.Yes they are raw material, they need to gel,but I like them. I kind of liked Astahova/Rogonov as well, he looked completely different to me, I think that regardless of how people loved how beautiful M/R were together, they were never a pair.

I can't help it but almost the entire program of Elena, in my mind I was seeing Michelle's SP. That spiral! And that step sequence! And the gorgeous flying sit spin at the end. Yeah, couldn't really concentrate on Elena's skating.

EDIT: I got it wrong. The flying sit was before the spiral and at the end it was the combination spin. I definitely had to rewatch it.

I like all their programs, although I'm not sure about Radio's music. But I like her so that's fine.

Agreed. I've seen people use this music before but they generally use one part rather than basically a carbon copy of Michelle's edit (which was a BRILLIANT edit BTW). I'm sure I'll end up loving it but for now, all I see is Michelle's amazing SP.

Yulia and Elena were great, that is the most important thing for me!Now patiently waiting for I/Z and S/K(Stolbova, Klimov), V/T should be fine anyway.
Loved Voronov, he has improved a lot with Eteri!

First i thought je suis malade was going to be Adelina's Short program but ok
I loved Yulia music, much better than last year, can't say the same for her skating.
Radionova was good but i like the short program better
Adelina i really like this program, but is so much expression that it looks kind of fake
Liza is amazing, she made me like her again, loved both programs.

I like Yulia's music, but I am not sure if it is a good piece to skater to. It seems Yulia was skating behind the music.

Yes I felt the same about Yulia, like ran after the music, didn't seem in control (regarding everything not only music)

breynows I agree that Adelina has A LOT of expression here but imo she has to do so.
If you choose such a loud, powerful and dramtic song like "Je suis malade" you have to perform just as dramatically and powerfully, otherwise the music will eat you up (see Pogorilaya)
