Hmmm...
And I thought it made her boobs look funny. I'll have to force my hubby to watch 30 seconds of her skate and see if he says that all of her most important assets look funny.
(In his eyes, these are the most important visual assets in any woman, since you can't see their brains, and from all biology class recollections, brains don't make good visual assets anyway LOL)

According to this picture, Michelle wasn't the only one with bulky ankles......Sasha and Irina seem to have picked up on this style too......

they do look bulky...yet, I'm of the opinnion that, if you want your tights to cover the boots, they better cover them completely. Either you see the skates or you don't Michelle's skates seemed strange with the bulky angle, probably because I'm not use to this way of her of wearing the tights.Hikaru..........I agree. Any way you slice it, or lace it, I guess..... if the tights cover the laces then you've got "bulge city"........at least when the tights stop at the laces, you can see the boots. With the boots covered too, you've got this nice long line from waist to toe with an odd looking bulge.........I can't believe I just typed that. Now that I have read it over, it sounds like a ridiculous thing to debate.......... 42

Irina wins the "stolen from Michelle Pheiffer and Halle Berry's wardrobe" award for her exhibition.
Johnny Weir wins the RuPaul award for his shoulderless SP dress and LP dress.
Shizuka wins the "most improved" award for the much better SP dress she wore as opposed to the techno swan monstrosity from last year. Unfortunately she misfired in her LP. She looked like she was going to a Nine Inch Nails concert.
Sasha's "Dark Eyes" SP dress HAS TO GO! It looks like it came from Goodwill!

Where do I begin, there were so many 'gems' this year?
#1 worst - As much as I love Irina...what the crap was she thinking with that latex porno get-up in the exhibition? Was it it a tribute to Moscow with all of its legal bordellos on Tverskaya Street? Sheesh...I did love her make-up, though. I could barely recognize her face when she was interviewed backstage, before her number. WOW! Outfit is hideous, though.
#2 - Shizuka's LP crosses - maybe she thought she'd need to balance-out the possibility of either Irina or Sasha wearing Stars of David on their dresses? I don't get it. It's not even in the theme of Romeo & Juliet.
#3 - Stephane 'Sir Lancelot' Lambiel - he's too good to make himself so laughable.
#4 - Johnny's weeds, LP outfit - beautiful concept on a woman's outfit; to me, it's tasteless for a Men's LP. A man as delicate & beautiful as Johnny should wear the simplest of one-tone outfits...as John Curry used to do. The decoration is all in the skating; clothing decorations would turn it sacharine.

I like Johnny's SP and Exhibition costumes better. Maybe when he runs into Sasha on the upcoming tour, she should give Johnny's LP costume a go since the women can wear pants now.
I honestly couldn't get past Irina's Exhibition costume far enough to even really *watch* her skate!! I think some of the ice dancers have a consortium going to bring porn to figure skating. Irina should donate that costume to an ice dancer. Oops - I guess that won't work since though porny, I don't know how you'd get a decent wedgie out of it.
